Megan McKinley

Megan McKinley was born and raised in San Diego and developed a love for baking and cooking throughout her childhood. After high school, Megan attended a local culinary school and landed a job at a hotel as a chef. She moved to LA, where she met her husband and found a job there quickly. However, within a short time, Megan got pregnant with her daughter and decided to be a stay-at-home mom. She took digital marketing courses and started offering social media management and virtual assistant services for clients in the food industry. Megan also wanted to keep her love for being a chef alive, which was her motivation for establishing Books to Cooks. She now has two daughters and a Yorkie, and she enjoys scrapbooking and creative writing too.
